| #TeamMuggle per our online random generator thingy YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Apollo hated this class most of all because of the simple fact that they didn't seem to be studying anything useful about muggles. No, instead the class was more centered about the disadvantages that muggles had in not being able to do magic. Aboli's outburst had been noted as well, and Apollo merely widened his eyes at the older girl, but said nothing. What could he have done? It wasn't as if he didn't agree with her? And yet he just sat/stood there. Like a statue.
The activity was muggle hunting. Ugh. He was going to be sick, especially if it turned out to be a replica of Defense Against the Dark Arts and a REAL Muggle got killed because of it. It didn't seem like real muggles were going to be involved in this, but half their class would be acting as muggles. He waited as Schmoe went around assigning them to either the wizard or muggle team, and he was assigned to the muggle team. Reluctantly handing his wand over, he'd listened to the instructions and then ran to hide on the perimeters, where it seemed less muddy, perhaps. But who cared. This was dumb and who actually hunted muggles?? And why? What purpose did it serve to hunt people who were at a clear disadvantage in society? What happened to the Statute of Secrecy? Did that not matter??? He didn't really know how much time had elapsed, until he heard Schmoe calling fifteen minutes left. He should do something. Maybe go sit in the mud too, since apparently it was symbolic of muggles being pigs? BUT was it muggles who were the pigs? Or these pureblooded supremists? Loitering and keeping his thoughts to himself when he saw an older Gryffindor girl plopping down on the ground and she seemed sad. Quote:

She was hanging out on the perimeter of the cones, kicking tufts of grass and pretending not to exist. It was working fairly well so far. She also had not donned the appropriate jersey, but had allowed it to fall from her fingertips to the grass.
She was definitely just loitering here and pouting. Might as well sit down on this disgusting grass. Might as well be a pig in slop. WHO CARED ANYMORE? Life SUCKED these days. Bernie plopped down on the ground in a little bundle of feelings. So Apollo did the only logical thing he could think to do. He went over to her, and plopped down next to her. "We're not one of them, you know." He didn't want the girl to have the sads. Also, by saying one of them, who knew if he was referring to being real muggles or the dumb hooded people who condoned violence and unforgivables. He wanted to tell her something to make her feel better. To tell her it will all be okay. But he was only eleven and to be honest, he didn't know that it would be?? Would he ever see his mother again? His grandparents? His cousins? Would the greater good really prove to be that? What was the greater good anyway?
