That's definitely pretty far. What is it like? When did you move here?" He always had lots of questions about foreign countries.
He giggled at her compliment. She was super sweet!!!! Kitty really loved this dynamic they had. "Awh, thanks! Okay we will definitely go thrifting someday! I know all the best spots around London, so we can make a whole day of it!" he grinned and squealed a little. "I'm excited! I've never gone thrifting with a friend before."
YES! A movement! "A cat-and-dog-person movement! An every-animal-person movement! This is how the world was meant to be!!" he laughed.
Kitty's eyes lit up as she duplicated her glasses. She took them from her gingerly, hopping from foot to foot excitedly. "Oh-em-gee!!!! Thank you so much!" he giggled giddily. He put the shades on his face and jumped up and down and clapped his hands. "AH! They're so lovely!!!" He sighed as he released his excitement. "It's so nice to meet you, Yassi! I'm so happy we met, you're literally the best!" And Kitty meant that completely—she was one of the greatest people he'd met in a while. It did feel far sometimes though, that much was certain enough. Especially without having her siblings nearby, the distance could feel endless some days. "Oh, it is wonderful! You would love it!" How did one even begin to explain the country as a whole? "Full of friendly people and delicious food!" Kabob was easy to find anywhere, but it was difficult to find Fesenjān done better anywhere else. That was a hill Yassi was willing to die on. Not to mention, the way foreigners were received in her country was unmatched. Personal invitations into someone's home, warmth, and hospitality. It was a visitor's paradise. Yasmin missed home dearly. Perhaps she would take some time off of work soon in order to visit. "But oh, I moved after secondary school. Not very far at first," she explained, pausing only then to add, "it is easy to travel between Istanbul and Shiraz. But I am hoping to stay in the UK for much longer." Again she smiled warmly, tucking strands of loose strands of hair behind her ears.
His energy was contagious and Yassi could feels herself feeding off of it. Oh, she clapped in delight. "Yes! That would be lovely, Kitty! Do you have a phone? Can I give you my number?" She hadn't ever gone thrifting with a friend either, though perhaps that had to do with the fact that she did not have many friends here. Hopefully something that would soon change. Already, she had felt she made a friend in Kitty.
Again, she found herself doubling over in laughter, the sounds echoing throughout the store. "Ah, I have missed this kind of energy!" She exclaimed, throwing her hands into the air.
She bowed her head, gracefully in reply to his gracious thank you. "And even more lovely worn by you," she added with conviction. "Ah-h-h, I'm also so happy!" She really was. It had been a long time since she had met someone so exuberant. "We must plan to meet again! Do you work near here?"
