A Poop * k8 * "What did your dad do there, again?" he couldn't remember because...well, honestly, he was very self absorbed. He could probably admit this comfortably. Not in a bad way, but he had been so focused on school and grades for so long that only recently once he was DONE with school and working full time he felt like he could BREATHE again. So yeah, he was having a hard time actually remembering much about his extended family.
And he felt guilty about it. "Experimental charms....that's dead wicked, Skye," he grinned, trying not to let on his sudden thought process about reconnecting with family members and whatnot. He wondered if Logan knew a lot about all their aunts, uncles, and cousins? Hmm. "I started like...what was it, two years ago? Year and a half? So I was 24." A year. It had totally been only a year now. All good. "How cool, though. You're so lucky, Skye, really. The ministry is just...what a place. And the benefits! And, you know, it's just..." but he felt his heart sink. It wasn't the dame place his dad had known. It was changing, and for the worse. He couldn't go into detail with Skye, though.
And so he didn't even finish his statement.
