There was a guy! WALKING TOWARDS THEM! THIS COULD BE THEIR CHANCE! She tugged on his sleeve and gave him her most EFFECTIVE puppy eyes. If there was one time she needed to look like someone in obvious trouble, who needed obvious saving, it was now. She needed ATTENTION! There were adults here, and she was gonna get RESCUED. "Please, sir," she whispered, out of the hearing of any hoods. "Save us. And I'm not talking about the dragons. We need to escape." She glanced at the hoods. "I don't want to go back to Hogwarts." She sniffled loudly, and gave more puppy eyes. "Don't let me go back." And then she stepped back, acted casual, and said LOUDLY, "wow, I think he has fireproof clothes. How cool is that?" She had adults all figured out. The non-alliance ones needed her to act like something was obviously wrong, and the alliance ones needed her to act like everything was fine. So while Ash was the picture of cool, calm, and collected, her eyes were begging anyone she saw who wasn't a hood to help. This was her chance, and she wasn't going to throw it away. |
