She wasn’t exactly sure but it wasn’t exactly an unwanted distraction for the everyday stress fest that was her life at the moment. It was draining and exhausting and oh so tiresome. Such was the life of a ministry worker in the current climate though.
Looking around, the curly haired blonde couldn’t help but sigh a little and drop the piece of junk she’d been pretending to eye, seeing but not really absorbing. Although in all fairness, she had only been looking at the free stuff in the box that lay outside of the shop. Deciding to finally go in, she ventured through the door and straight to the shelves of books that lay, somewhat dusty but still interesting. Maybe a good book would help her drift off at night when she was all alone with nothing but her thoughts and the barking of her neighbours’ dog.
Now, just to sift through the drab and the not so appealing damaged magazines and newspapers. |
