Dahlia was lost in her own little world again. This time it consisted of only herself, the rat in her hands and the box maze on the table before her. All she had to do was keep the rat alive. Alive and away from the block of cheese she had already placed down in the maze.

A couple of ideas were already forming in her head when she realized she was no longer alone at the table. She smiled softly and nodded her head at the slightly older girl (Ingrid) who she knew was in her own house. "Sure, you can work with us." Us being both the rat and her. It was only after she had nodded at the rat in her own arms that she noticed the other girl was also holding a rat. Did they need two? She didn't think so but she wasn't going to worry about that.

The full body-bond curse? That would surely keep the rat from getting to the cheese but.. weren't they meant to let the rat roam around the maze? It wouldn't be able to do that if it couldn't move. "I'm st-" she had begun when they were joined by another older girl from their own house (Ivy) and quickly one more old girl (Claudine) from Slytherin. "I don't mind. The more the merrier."

"Not yet. We were only starting to discuss what might work." And she hadn't gotten very far at all. There was quick talk about the full body-bind once again and stunning the rat. Neither option was very appealing to her. Nonetheless, Lia watched Ingrid try to cast the body-bind spell on the rat she had been holding. When it didn't work, she couldn't help but let out a small breath of relief.

"Can't we just confuse him?" she asked quietly, lightly running her finger over the top of the rats head that was still cradled in her arms. "Or maybe we can change the cheese to something else he wouldn't want to eat... or uhhh... alter the smell of it?" Any of those ideas could work, right?
