Those poor rats. Cece had been busy watching them with a frown so when she finally turned her attention back to the task at hand, groups were already forming and fast. Mildly panicked by the thought of being caught falling behind, the blonde hurried to an empty table and found herself a seat.
”Hey Kins, over here.” The fifth year beckoned her pseudo-little sister over, noting she hadn’t found a group either. ”I’ll grab us a rat and some cheese.”
She settled on a brown one, a little smaller than some of the others, with a twitchy little nose. It was cute, but Cece tried not to let on that she thought so. She also grabbed some cheese. Some evil cheese. Whatever Rosier had done to it, she was sure it was bad. Maybe they could make the cheese look or smell like something awful and the rat just wouldn’t want to eat it? Hmm..
Returning to the table, she set the cheese inside the maze and far from the rat she was holding. ”Any ideas?”
