"I should probably get back to the common room," Mamie said quietly, tucking her hands into her pockets. They had been standing here for a bit now, and she was always nervous about being in the hallway. You never knew how far away the Hooded Folks were. It was usually not far enough. And with them both being Muggleborns, she didn't want them to look "suspicious" even if they were really just jibber-jabbering away like two normal twelve-year-olds.
