Mamie decided it was time to stand up. She didn't want any of those Scary Squad or Neo-Alliance cultists to come along while she was on the ground. They might make her stay on the ground, and sitting on the floor was only fun when it was voluntary.
So up she got. She silently agreed with Ashley about the new curriculum garbage, but was too chicken to say so out loud. "Have you been doing extra studying in the library?" she asked Ashley. She knew Quinn had, and wasn't sure if that was a normal Ravenclaw thing or a subtle form of insurrection. She was all for secret rebellion, but extra studying would not be productive for her. Book learning was too difficult. |
