The boy's response was, well, it wasn't one that Jordan wanted to hear. Long enough ... well, how long was 'long enough'? In the end, though, he didn't question it out loud. Enough had been seen. It was very obvious what Jordan Hicks was doing in the potions hut when no one else was around to watch him. His face really had said it all the moment he realized he wasn't alone.
"Just collecting some ingredients," he replied smoothly, not bothering to waste time lying about what he was up to while also keeping things vague enough. "Got a brew that I'm working on." Whether it was for potions class or his own enterprise, that nugget of information was something he was not going to share with just anyone. Whether it was apparent or not with his casual posture against the doorframe, Takoda's positioning was very much on purpose. He knew he was blocking the only exit, essentially forcing Jordan to face him. Whether he would keep this to himself or not still remained to be seen, and he wasn't giving his stance away so easily with expression or words. But this was rather amusing to the sixteen year old. "A brew that you're working on....Interesting," he casually repeated his words back to him, the knowing undertone still present. "What kind of brew is it that you're in here during off hours while the professor is away?" Very curious indeed. And Takoda would very much like to know.
