The boy's response was, well, it wasn't one that Jordan wanted to hear. Long enough ... well, how long was 'long enough'? In the end, though, he didn't question it out loud. Enough had been seen. It was very obvious what Jordan Hicks was doing in the potions hut when no one else was around to watch him. His face really had said it all the moment he realized he wasn't alone.

"Just collecting some ingredients," he replied smoothly, not bothering to waste time lying about what he was up to while also keeping things vague enough. "Got a brew that I'm working on." Whether it was for potions class or his own interests, that nugget of information was something he was not going to share with just anyone.
