I was actually on my way to the kitchens to do some baking, so... I'm going to go rinse off my pinky and then, uh.... get to it." He gave a small nod. "Good luck with your... slug... catching..?"

His laugh sounded a little forced, but sometimes people laughed when they didn't know what else to say. Kinsay could respect that. Maybe. Either way, she didn't think much of it because she was super excited to have helped the first year get over his fear of slugs. That's exactly what happened just now, obviously.

"Thanks!" She grinned, throwing the one she currently had in her hands right into the jar. "See you," she waved a goopy hand at him before sticking it back into the slug pit for her next catch. See? Super fun!
