Ah.

Did she need someone to talk to? Jessica pushed aside her paperwork and folded her hands neatly atop her desk. She loooooooved listening to people's problems. And then helping them figure them out with the best course of action. It made her feel so involved. In some ways, she missed being a publicist. The materialism of it made it feel so much simpler than what she was doing now. "I do know that feeling. All too well." She spoke gently, in an even tone. "Are you feeling that way, Louise?" Jessica had a variety of ways to offer to help, but the top three she could see clearly in her brain. "Because it seems more than the minister's broadcast that has you at unease."

It hardly seemed enough to cause someone to feel alone. Did Louise have children at Hogwarts? Jessica couldn't remember. She knew Louise was...single, right? Ugh. She wished she had paid more attention to her coworkers' lives. Maybe she was...a bit self absorbed. As someone whose job it was, not so long ago, to be completely involved with another person's life, you sure are taking a left turn there, Jess...
Definitely lucky for her because while Louise was generally the type to be happy and content for those around her, she sometimes couldn't help but wallow. Sometimes.

She hated feeling like this though. And yet the fact that Jessica seemed soooo kind and wanting to be involved a listening ear was just ... enough. She gave her a small smile. "A bit. But I'll be okay, really. It's just... there was something in the broadcast that has me worried that maybe this all isn't for the greater good. Usually when people say things of that extreme it's to cover up for well... extreme acts of injustice. Terror. Horrors." She shuttered, not even sure she should be considering all this and yet, maybe it was the journalistic part of brain that was thirsty for a good story.
