Kinsay was, of course, listening very intently. Best friend duties and all. She never interrupted even once except for the occasional exclamations of disbelief and hummed agreements. "That's so frustrating! I'm sorry you had to move, Emm." The story was all very dramatic (they usually were) and upsetting (as most things this year tended to be).

"And we knew to keep quiet in libraries," she added with a nod. Library manners were apparently lost upon this new generation according to Emm (who Kinsay had no reason to doubt, like, ever).

The Gryffindor absently looked towards the entrance gates, silently wishing that they'd open up. It was a ridiculous wish, but Kinsay had had enough of this year. Everything from the hate speech in lessons to the horrible hooded figures to first years who couldn't keep their voices low in the library. Speaking of first years... Kiz turned to give Emm a look.
