Jane observed Flamsteed with growing concern--he did not seem at all like the man she'd seen at the beginning of the year in the Hall or Prophecy. For that matter,
that Flamsteed hadn't seemed much like the man she'd heard others describe to her. This Flamsteed seemed to almost be in some sort of a trance.
