Into the History of Magic classroom strolled Nem, tucking a book away into their bag as they went. "Good afternoon, Professor," they said politely, as they found a seat by the back corner of the room and got their things all set up for the notes they were unlikely to take. Nothing too out of the ordinary in their inscrutable demeanour today, no different from the rest of the term, which was in turn no different from the previous term. They'd noticed, naturally, that the Hug-a-Hoodie brigade were present, but that was hardly surprising at this point, and after spotting them out of the corner of their eye, Nem had gone on behaving like they weren't even there.
Act like you don't see them, but remember they always see you. A general guideline Nem was ostensibly operating by, and one they had seen fit to pass on to their little brother as well, though it probably hadn't been all that necessary. Couldn't be too careful though; the kid was a liability.
With their writing equipment all ready to go and textbook set to one side, Nem looked, not up at the pictures on the board, but in the direction of the window, and waited.
