The walk from the tower to Trent's office felt very long this time around, especially seeing the eyes of students, but Cassie did not let that falter her. She kept her head up and gave them encouraging smiles as she went. They were the reason she was a professor and she wouldn't let them see any fear in her at the moment. She never exactly told the kids to be defiant, but she wasn't going to stand by when eleven year olds were getting harmed, it was the first day of classes for Merlin's sake.
Taking a deep breath she followed him into the office and stood at the door. She didn't speak, knowing she shouldn't until he spoke and she didn't sit, because honestly she just wanted to stay standing, but if he requested she would most likely sit. Her thoughts were going in many different directions as she looked around the office.
