Out of the corner of her eye, Delilah was aware of what one of the hooded figures was doing. She didn't dare watch, though. Whatever it was he'd written on that piece of parchment couldn't be good. More torture for one of them. Maybe even all of them. Fantastic.

She tried to move her attention back to the lesson, but the problem was that her solution to the bad omen involved eliminating the hooded figures and the so-called professor. There was no way she was going to jot down ideas for that one. Hopefully the professor would understand. Hopefully nobody would ask her to elaborate.
