Nine dogs. Merlin's beard.
Aaaahh foooooey! "Sabbatical! Traveling! Isn't it the same sometimes?" he teased Noble. But before they even broached the topic of next steps, Paul gestured in the direction of the pub. "Lead the way, because I would like to pick your brain as well, and I fancy to chat more privately in there than out here. Dodgy characters if you're not too careful right?" He smiled genuinely and started in the direction of Moribund's. Was Paul getting bored in his retirement? Surely not. Noble might have retorted about being summoned on demand, but they both well knew he wouldn't turn down a visit to the vineyards, nor did he have much in the way of other plans. "It rather depends on the purpose," Noble commented about his sabbatical. "Though I will admit it was rather freeing and refreshing." A needed change of pace. "Well, now you've piqued my interest..." Though this particular alley was an interesting choice as a meeting place, if the man was worried about dodgy characters. Surely the vineyards, or Noble's house in Oxfordshire would have been the most private choice. Still, Noble had learnt long ago not to question the herbologist's logic too much, there generally being some method amongst the madness, and so he'd soon crossed the street, and pushed open the door to the pub. "What're you drinking?" he asked, heading directly towards the bar and retrieving his wallet from his robes.
