Delaney only felt a little bad about sneaking up and startling the older girl due to recent events with the hooded men and new headmaster. She was more concerned with what she was saying. Did she not know how mirrors worked?
This was puzzling news… a mirror with no reflection? Delaney gave the girl an apprehensive look before inching closer until she herself stood in front of the mirror as well. Oh. Well yes, she could see the problem now…. Even though the Slytherin was standing dead center she saw no one staring back at her, not herself or the other girl. Perhaps she was a vampire as well.... But the longer she stared the more she started to notice in the glass, like the chandeliers and the gold drapes. She spun around to look her companion.
“Do you see the other room in there?” She poked at glass, it felt cool as ice against her finger, ”Have you ever seen it before?”
Delaney took a couple steps back towards the girl (who still had her hairbrush hiding behind her back) and stuck out her hand, “Sorry, I’m Delaney. It’s only my first year.”
