Delilah was equally shocked and relieved when the professor carried on with the lesson as if the hooded figures hadn't ever even arrived at all. It was admirable, but it was worrisome, too. Each and every time someone showed the least bit of resistance, Delilah was taken back to that very first crucio she had seen at the feast. It wasn't exactly a mental picture most people wanted to have.
Rocks. Just...rocks. Delilah had never, not even once in her life, considered rocks very interesting. They especially didn't 'speak' to her at all. She stared down at the rocks before her, though, but it was really just as a distraction from the hooded figures.
She raised her hand. "I don't really know much about Divination, but if I was walking through a forest, I would probably just pick up a really pretty rock. Or maybe even a rock that I could throw," she said. Having pretty rocks and rocks she could throw, though, had nothing to do with Divination. "I'd say if we wanted to use them for Divination, we would look at sizes and shapes? Maybe whether they're smooth or jagged?"
