Since Delilah was new to Hogwarts, she wouldn't really notice if anything was out of the ordinary. Now the whole face melting thing had been a pretty obvious surprise for everybody, but the fact that this professor was quiet and not snapping at her students? Delilah didn't even notice anything had changed. As a matter of fact, she still had the attitude that literally nobody could be trusted, and she'd started walking around the castle expecting people's faces to start melting off. Any one of them could be somebody else.

She quietly took a seat, but at the same time, she tried to hide a light laugh at Emmerson's comment. Delilah had to admit that if they started throwing rocks at their unwelcomed guests, she'd join in for sure.

Then just like that, the lighthearted nature of the first few seconds of class was over. Delilah felt her heart start to pound again as the two hooded figures entered the room. She squirmed a little bit in her seat then turned her gaze to a random spot in front of her. Nope. Not going to meet anybody's eyes, especially not the two hooded figures.
