 Constant Vigilance! O_O AWAKE!
Mamie's eyes widened as their fake headmaster wrote LIAR in big letters on some of her classmates' faces. Golly, was she relieved she was too much of a chicken to lie. She was more concerned, however, with the casual use of an unforgivable curse and the near-immediate removal of people's mouths. Kinsay and Emmerson, and those two first years she had met on the train! Frankly, it made her afraid to say anything at all.
She shuddered as the man started the lesson and asked a question that was...well, so biased. To her, it was like asking why the sky was green when...the sky was clearly not green. The sky was blue.
Still, she started to raise her hand. Ohhh, did she have an answer. Muggles had invented robots. Wizards didn't have robots. Her hand was barely higher than her shoulder, though, when she heard one of the other students give a scary answer and thought maybe she should not draw attention to herself.
