Between the events of the feast and his own unrelenting nightmares, Heath had barely slept last night. That was nothing new, however, He was used to getting by on little to no sleep, that and the overwhelming dread that settled over him every time he walked to a DADA lesson, In the past, he dreaded this class because he was afraid of making mistakes and disappointing Headmaster Trent. Now he was afraid for a completely different reason. There was no telling what Rosier would subject them to, and the man had already proven himself capable of the worst!
Despite his heightened emotions, there was no sign of fear or hate on the Ravenclaw’s face as he entered the arena. He was an actor first and foremost! Normally he would greet the man with a polite but silent nod, as he had last term, but in light of… recent events, he had a sneaking suspicion that silence would be punished as an act of defiance. “Good morning, Headmaster Rosier,” he greeted in an even, neutral tone - one that betrayed no hint of emotion.
Heath joined Claudine, giving a nod in greeting. Another nod was sent to the other guy (Curtis) standing nearby, though he didn’t dare say hello to either of them. It was too early in the term to get on Rosier’s bad side! WIth the pleasantries out of the way, he turned his attention back to the front of the room, waiting for the lesson to begin.
