There was a healthy glow of tan on the former potions professor's face as he stepped into the alley, a result of his year-long travels in warmer climes and many happy days spent watching a good game of cricket. There really wasn't anything like the sound of leather upon willow, though a beater's bat and bludger could suffice in the off-season. His hair had begun to fade too - another side-effect of the sun, sea and sand, or so he'd claim. But despite becoming accustomed to casual attire on his travels, he'd opted for something he deemed more appropriate for the alley: tailored charcoal robes, finished with a fine silver brocade. A pewter badger graced his lapel.
"As inconspicuous as ever I see," he commented as he reached the old man in his straw hat, pale blue sweater and pink handkerchief. A hint of amusement curled on his lips; in all the time they'd known each other, Paul had never changed. "How go the errands?"
