His uncle pulled him out of school and got a tutor, so he’s been homeschooled since then. His uncle travels a lot so it’s mostly him and his tutor and the maid, who all leave him to “go play” when he’s done with his homework. Nobody seems to care if he goes into the library unsupervised at home, and sometimes he even sleeps in a nest of books.
