Quinn nodded when Eden mentioned the houses. "Yeah, I heard about that stuff, too. I don't have a preference for what house I get, but I think that Hufflepuff is the most likely. I don't think I'm brave enough for Gryffindor, and I think I'm just about the opposite of a Slytherin. I don't know if I'm smart enough to be a Ravenclaw, but the Sorting Hat can do whatever it thinks is right and I'll go with it. Anyway, we could definitely see the greenhouses! I already have to go to drop off Violet—the headmaster says that I can't keep it in my room, so I have to meet the Herbology professor in the greenhouses to find a place for it. You can come with and we can have a look around."
Eden perked up when Quinn mentioned he had a reason to go to the greenhouses anyway. It would be good to get a sneak peek before term kicked off and get to meet a professor outside of lessons.
"That sounds perfect, Quinn. Are you going before or after the feast?" And if he really was a Hufflepuff-to-be, it would be nice to have a friend to sneak off to the greenhouses with. Eden already knew she'd have to learn the ins and outs of the castle in order to avoid getting in too much trouble when she was bored.
"Do you think there are dangerous plants in the greenhouses? There were a few in Noltie's that looked wicked mean."
