Except for right now, Vivian's hand entwined with his own. A comfort and a calmness that made all the wrongs of the world go right. Especially when he looked at the ring, hand crafted and charmed himself, upon her finger.
"I do not think the shopkeeper would appreciate my wrecking havoc upon their shop," he chuckled. gruff and still with his thick Romanian accent, while giving her hand a squeeze as he held the door open for her. The answer to her question was, quite literally, all of them. "Perhaps I can find pieces of metal here to make you a locket." When Andrei chuckled, so did Vivian. Any indication of happiness from him always brought a smile onto Vivian's face, subtle or not. But Vivian Fairfield was the least subtle when it came to expressing her own emotions. She didn't shy away from it before, and she certainly wasn't about to shy away now. Her life was pretty much better now than how it was years ago, ring-related things included.
"Well..." Vivian began, thinking about what Andrei said there and entering the shop. She then lowered her voice a bit, just in case people were eavesdropping. "I doubt the shopkeeper gets a lot of visitors everyday. Maybe he could use a little metal charming here and there, maximum customer attraction." She looked up at Andrei with wide eyes, and a little elbow bump too, because she did in fact like to play a bit of the devil's advocate. Kidding aside though, no, the shopkeeper probably wouldn't like it.
Him thinking about what to make for her always still made her heart flutter like she were a teen. Except she's now 25, but the feeling still remained. "You know you don't have to," she replied softly, still very much smiling. "But, thinking about it, it would be a nice way to give the metal new life." A lot of the things here were, after all, almost seemed damaged beyond repair. It doesn't mean it would have to exist forever without a purpose.
