It's something she liked about what she did, that she constantly had to step out of her comfort zone. New language, new people, new surroundings, new culture. There was comfort in the unfamiliar, even if that seemed like a contradiction.

That didn't mean she didn't find comfort in familiarity, and no other feeling beats spending time with the people she loved—one of them being the man right beside her. Vivian reached out to entwine her fingers together with Andrei's as she looked around this side of the alley, nothing really looking for something or someone in particular. She scanned the place for more familiarities. After all, she'd been based in Madrid for many years. Things were bound to change, especially in major places like Diagon Alley.

A junk shop in Diagon Alley was something, and she wasn't sure she'd seen it before. Her age was showing. Yikes. "How many of those broken trinkets can you charm in one go?" Vivian asked, squeezing Andrei's hand a bit and nodding towards the junk shop. And was that a broken wand? Was that...allowed, even?
Andrei had lived in the United Kingdom during the summer months for a couple of years while he still attended Durmstrang. All had been thanks to his mătuşă and uncle in removing him from an unstable and unhealthy home environment. The Azkaban break out a few years back had turned Andrei's blood cold out of fear that the same may occur in Nurmengard, but for now that wizarding prison remained secure and his father still locked away within. Though the Azkaban incident left him unsettled still, even with his uncle's assurances that all was well here in the United Kingdom. It certainly did not...always seem this way.

Except for right now, Vivian's hand entwined with his own. A comfort and a calmness that made all the wrongs of the world go right. Especially when he looked at the ring, hand crafted and charmed himself, upon her finger.

"I do not think the shopkeeper would appreciate my wrecking havoc upon their shop," he chuckled. gruff and still with his thick Romanian accent, while giving her hand a squeeze as he held the door open for her. The answer to her question was, quite literally, all of them. "Perhaps I can find pieces of metal here to make you a locket."
