Adam was SO busy shopping. Obviously. SO busy.
Ok, he was just trying to LOOK busy. In actuality he hadn't done any shopping for school supplies, just stuff for himself. A new comic book. A new green jumper that reminded him of a green frog. You know, important stuff.
But then he spotted Kinsay heading into a shop, and an opportunity for MORE distraction presented himself! She was funny, he liked talking to her and mostly annoying her in conversation. He wasn't sure who that was that she was with, but he followed them into the store anyways.
As he entered the threshold of the store behind them, he heard someone calling out for help and raised an eyebrow. "Uh....hi?" he called out to the voice, also unwittingly announcing his presence to Kinsay and her companion at the same time.
