Eden, her wand still raised, was surprisingly slower than usual mostly because she was nervous about what she would find inside the shop. She did NOT like the look of that symbol...she had seen it before, floating around casually here and there, for years, it seemed. Had it actually been that long?
The cascade of junk rolling down on her from the back of the store was too quick. Eden managed to get herself STUCK underneath all of the STUFFFFFF, her wand still clutched tightly in her hand. Would it be safe to blast her way out of it?! Or would that make things worse? She absolutely did NOT want Arden coming in here, so it was time to think QUICKLY. She wasn't hurt that she could tell, but she was STUCK UNDERNEATH PILES OF JUNK. And if she blasted her way out, she might GET hurt.
Uh. "IS ANYONE ELSE IN HERE? ARE YOU OKAY?" she shouted. Quote:

The cardboard box did catch her interest though. Free was one of Kinsay's favorite words (behind better ones like onomatopoeia, clandestine, and hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia). The SOON-TO-BE second year paused for a moment as if deciding whether the sour gummies could wait before deciding to sit down on the side of the street. Pulling the cardboard box to situate it on her lap, she began diligently rummaging through the inventory.
Most of this stuff really is junk. Figures. Arden was bored three seconds after Eden disappeared inside the shop. Her bouncy, curly hair began to come out of its bun as she skipped, not at all worried about the situation since her mother was the SMARTEST GROWNUP SHE KNEW.
Oh LOOK! ANOTHER PERSON. "HIIII!~" Arden waved happily. The VERY HAPPY seven-year-old came to a halt in front of the girl. "Hi. Are you stealing stuff?" she asked curiously. "If so, you're not being secret enough." She gestured at the free stuff the girl was looking in.
It was then that Arden heard the ruuuuuuumbbbbbble from inside the shop, and she hopped up from her crouching position. "Nooo no no! My mammy's in there - !" But she said for Arden not to go in! And she knew not to follow when bad MAGIC things were involved.... her big, blue eyes looked at the new girl with concern....
