Bernie's face immediately turned a bit red, and not just because she was holding her breath and hoping that her palm didn't feel sticky from the box of peppermint toads she'd consumed before this meeting. She quickly let go of his hand though, because um, he was her brother, like, not literally, but kinda, and she didn't hold hands with her brother!!!! The only boy she'd ever held hands with was Blake!!!!!!!!11 And he didn't really count, because because because because they were just friends!!!!!!!
Bernie took in a deep breath once she was inside the office and immediately started strolling around, trying to notice anything different about the place, and obviously checking to see if he still had a photo of his hot sister girlfriend on the desk there. Yep, there she was.
She then threw herself into a beanbag chair and crossed her arms, preparing herself for a Schmoe speech and also thinking about how on Merlin's sweet Earth she was going to keep her TA job NOW, after that cat-astrophe of a lesson. Speaking of cats, could she silence the clock without Schmoe knowing orrrr would that just make this situation worse?
