"Yeah," Bernie agreed nonchalantly, "that's definitely something that, uh, whoever made this poster PROBABLY didn't consider, that...silly goose." She cleared her throat.
Never mind that.
"I am interested in a trade." She eyed Nem a bit, playing with their hair like that, and then unearthed the hat from her bag. So he got cold, huh. "I am working on a pair of mittens to match, but...." she'd never tried to make mittens before, and right now they looked more like socks. So she hadn't brought them for Nem, smiling Nem. This was supsicious?!?! Who knew Nem had a nice smile?
But Bernie was looking decidedly at the hat and twirling it around her hand. "I believe you promised me the secrets to breaking out of Azkaban?" Just in case they needed a reminder?
