Sneak. Sneak. Sneak.
Perhaps one would find this surprising because Kizzy usually followed the rules. Well, she usually followed most rules. WELL, she usually followed the rules that felt important enough to follow, BUT that's only because some rules are arbitrary and don't make any proper sense. Those were the kinds of rules she purposefully broke. To prove points, you know? But sneaking out past curfew was a rule she didn't break very often. Not unless it involved Emmerson or Matty. She didn't mind breaking the rules for them.
There are always exceptions.
That's why she had absolutely NO worries about sneaking to the kitchens past curfew now. It helped that Emm made her feel invincible. They could do ANYTHING and come out unscathed (probably). Besides, she could never say no to a genius Emmerson idea. Those were always proper fun and if she said no, maybe Emm would find someone to replace her with. That is nightmare scenario. "You should be the one to tickle the pear," she grinned, looking over at BEST FRIEND.

You could say Emmerson Cambridge was forced into the role of a rule breaker, by dEfAuLt.
Now she was done dancing and positively wired which meant a top super secret trip down to the kitchen with Kizzy--another place it was better to visit after hours.
Was no one going to do anything about all these kids walking around the castle and hogging the places she liked?
"Okay!" Emm whispered loudly, giving an eager little wiggle before stepping up to the portrait and giving the pear a fine tickle. Once the entrance opened up, she tugged the bestfriend inside, not wanting them to linger out in the corridor where they could be caught. "Let's make a huuuuuuge sundae. You go grab toppings. I'll get the ice-cream."
Quirly was busy cleaning up after dinner. Right now Quirly was working on the dishes. Well, Quirly was taking extra special time extra cleaning the very bestest spatula in the entire kitchen. Clean, clean, clean. Soap bubbly clean.
After a minute Quirly realized that there was a loud whisper.
"Studentsies!" the house elf exclaimed before quickly drying the spatula and hurrying over.
"Baby studentses in the kitchen. Why are they here? Do they need help?"
