Violet had stepped out from behind the statue of Lachlan the Lanky when she heard this. A ghost? What kind of threat was that? What could a ghost do to you, they weren't even corporeal, just someone who hadn't had the nerve to 'go on' after they died. But what was this treasure he was talking about? Sure enough, that was what the Headmaster had been up to in those woods the other day. And suddenly, speak of the devil, there he was, standing right there!

Seeing him again, after that escapade in the Forbidden Forest, just made Violet's blood boil cold. She was usually cautious, unwilling to jump into things without checking them out, but suddenly she found herself speaking to him. She wanted to hurt him, to scare him the way he'd scared them in the Forest.
"They weren't aggravating the ghost, he just had a message for you," Violet said cooly.
"He said if he don't get his treasure back by the end of the weekend, there will be consequences. Just thought you should know."
