Jane turned her head at the sound of a man's voice--Merlin's Suspenders, that must be the wizard Catherina had summoned with her Patronus, the man she had been on her way to meet when the Entry Hall had presented her with the wrong door, the man who was now her boss--Airey Flamsteed, Head of the Department of Mysteries. This was not really the way Jane had planned to meet him on her first day.

She left her companion for a minute as she retraced her steps down the aisle they were in and poked her head out at the end. Yes, there he was, standing at the end of the Hall.
