Had...the Fat Friar just implied that he was an easily upset-able young student? Which, to be fair, in some ways was true but this wasn't one of those times. Still...the message was clear (finally). Especially with Sir Nicholas chiming in after to mostly echo the Huffepuff house's ghost's suggestion.
You know...the one that the Bloody Baron had said all the way at the beginning of this meeting.
Still, he did feel a little disenchanted that none of the four seemed to want to listen to him AND that there was a refusal to allow student involvement. At least...for now?
"Okay...okay I get it..." he sighed while slipping his hands into his pockets. While this particular Gryffindor did not exactly have a ton of house pride, that still lay with Ilvermorny if it came down to it all, he was still...bothered by being sidelined. Forced into the spectator seat by a bunch of specters. "JUST...I mean...it's our school too. Us younger students. And...well...last term all we could do it just sit back and watch things happen around us and wait like sitting ducks for things to do...whatever they were going to do ... So...yeah..."
Anyway. Time to bolt. Before they told him again to get out.
