Why was Trent asking them so much about the Forest? And why did he seem so impatient to get answers? Shouldn't he already know what was in there?

Avalon simply shrugged at the Headmaster's terse reply to her. What, did he want them to admit to sneaking around in the Forest? Even if someone did (which, if she may point out, Avalon most definitely did not), why would they be stupid enough to admit it? They'd just be buying themselves a month's detention.

At his next question, the Ravenclaw remained quiet at first - both because she was annoyed at how this lesson was going and because she didn't really know what was in the forest. There were lots of legends and speculations about it, but not a whole lot of people had been inside. "Voldemort was in the Forbidden Forest at one point. So I suppose there could be a dark wizard hiding in there." That was definitely the worst-case scenario. Although coming face-to-face with an acromantula wasn't too high on Avalon's bucket list either.
