~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Claudine glared at Curtis once more when he spoke up but as she had made up her mind earlier, she wasn’t going to say anything further. She wasn’t a talker, anyway, as anyone who came in contact with her knew. In any case, she could already bet that she was in a huge amount of trouble with Trent for not answering the question, for standing against some of the others and for pointing out that there wasn't going to be limited spells in the real world. Whatever. Claudine was used to Trent, his constant criticisms and love for detention. Without really thinking about it, she shot Heath a questioning look. Didn’t he have a response too?
Claudine snorted loudly and had the audacity to roll her eyes, not caring if Trent heard or saw her. An essay? Ha. What else was new? Honestly, he was more of a dictator than a Headmaster these days. Again… Whatever. The Slytherin was ready to move on. Already notes were being made by her and already she was muttering the incantation. “Ascendio. Ascendio.’’
Being in no mood to work with anyone, Claudine grabbed a basket, stuck a piece of parchment with her name on it and got to work. “Ascendio.’’ Cue an upward point with wand. The Snakette was quite taken aback at the feeling of being launched into the air despite knowing what the spell did. So surprised she was that Claudine did not even have time to grab a key. It didn’t matter. Now that she was back on the ground and had some experience of what the spell felt like, she was better prepared for round two. |
