Bernie wasn't sure how she felt about this class being taught by her classmate's mom. It was obvious, wasn't it, how awkward he was acting now?? And also, the lady had the same last name as him?? However, she was interested to learn that her classmate had a mom who basically had the same job as her mom, only in the wizarding world. Bernie's only concern was wouldn't she show favoritism toward him and his friends?
Bernie shot Heath a sympathetic look, or at least looked toward the back of his head, since she was behind him, and then raised her hand. "Nah, it's not too warm in here. And when I have a cold, my mom isolates me to my room and makes my sister sleep in the living room. And she says we all need more sleep when we're sick so our bodies can heal."
