Which came first, the phoenix or the flame? Ashley had a MAJOR mood swing. She went from maliciously happy to maliciously angry in about .2 seconds. But they were allowed to fight dummies? Good. No way was she going to hurt a classmate. But she was definitely going to hurt something. Just a dummy, she reminded herself. It's not real. It won't really die. That was a strength of Ashley's. Separation of reality and fiction. Rest assured in a real situation she would have stayed there for who knows how long. "I'll take a dummy." She was going to rip its head off. Possibly literally. Or strangle it. Ha Ha, she thought to herself. I'm not compromising my morals. Loophole. The headmaster might be asking her to beat up a dummy, but that did not mean she would in any way, shape, or form would she fight ruthlessly for real. She wondered if the headmaster was evil. In D&D he certainly would be. She didn't care what anybody said about who the headmaster had used to be. She had only seen cruel headmaster, and she was sure that he would stay like that. If this were muggle school, he could be fired by now. Ashley was glad there were dummies. What she was planning to do would put a real person in the hospital. On the other hand, with this school, it was probably her ending up in the hospital.
