Mmm, that David could agree with. "It's...great that you're giving a child a home," he mumbled in an attempt to be kind. He didn't know much about children, raising children, or parenting. He, like many others, just had uninformed opinions based on his own experiences.
He let out a small sigh and cast his eyes around, looking for his friend. Oh. The guy had asked him something? "It's fine," he answered quietly. He wasn't supposed to talk about work. But, he had to say, he was no closer to finding out what had happened to him on the day he'd fallen asleep at work... not that he'd ever tell a random employee this.
"I'm just waiting for my gi-- er, uh, my friend. Jessica." David's cheeks turned a bit pink with this near slip-up. "We try to eat lunch together every day."
