Some of these duels....some of these duels. The Headmaster rubbed his face in exasperation, wondering what to truly make of what he was watching. To their credit, some took the threat seriously enough to put proper effort into their duels. No reason they should lose their wand all week for the sake or sentimentality.
And then there was his own prefect. If the man had been on the fence before, he was not anymore.
"That pathetic little display of begging has earned you a spot in detention as well, Prefect." Looking at you, boy. Begging. BEGGING. He'd learn not to repeat that in any of his lessons.
"Everyone, gather your things, we're done for the day. I expect those essays on my desk by dinner on Friday and those of you who now have detention will be hearing more from me before the week is out." He would be posting a list, as well as the time and the place. "Keep a look out."
He eased against the window's sill, having long since removed the sticking charm of the careless Gryffindor from earlier but paused as he remembered.
"Don't be in the unfortunate position of having me ask the location of the wands you have won today and hearing you've returned them. KEEP them, until Saturday."
They were dismissed.
OOC: That's it for DADA guys! Thanks so much for coming and making this great. There will be a detention. OOC you don't HAVE to post but IC your character would've been there regardless unless you explicitly decide they skipped in which case there are further consequences they would face. This is mostly an extra RP opportunity. I'll get a post up sometime this week. Thanks again!
