If this was meant to be condescending, Kinsay didn't know. She was quite proud of the fact that she was the youngest. Littlest and cutest! It also meant she could get away with more. Being the littlest was best. "Teddy and Phoebe and then ME."

Even if she didn't use it, Kiz hoped her wand would act up on its own and still turn the girl's fingers into sausages because Kiz didn't want to get used to losing. Losing was a terrible thing and Kizzy didn't like it. It was horrible advice.

She tried her very best to grip tightly to her wand, but this time the spell knocked her back on her bum and the wand left her little hand and flew over to the older girl instead. And all Kinsay could do was stay on the ground and pout. Bernie wasn't very nice.

Also? How was she supposed to learn magic if she didn't have her wand for a whole WEEK? Everyone knows that you learn the most the first week! It was science!
