And if he had caught his sack, he'd consider himself lucky. But what he did not expect was the entirety of Kale to come flying at him. Staring at his quickly approaching body like a deer caught in headlights, Morgan stood stunned until it was too late. When he finally had the sense to move out of the way, a collision was already imminent and he was knocked to the floor just as he started to shift to the left.

“Whoa, bro!” The fourteen year old lay sprawled on his back a moment, somewhat dazed. “That sorta worked.” Well, if it really worked he would have a sack of stones in his hand right now. He turned to see where Kale ended up.

With about half the students about to end up in detention, it would be a solid little cohort to put to work.

He glanced back in time to see the talkative question poser from the first suddenly casting a blinding light and you know what? It earned the faintest of smirks. Some...some of them had what it took to get far in life. He'd be keeping an eye on that one from now on.

But it was time to get moving and he wasn't sure where the students stood--a direct result of quite literally paying them no mind throughout the entire activity.

"Alright, bring it in." The man accioed a piece of parchment and a quill. "Show me your sacks as you return them to the box." The one right here by his side. "If you've got more than one, give me the name of the person you intend to send to detention. If you've got more than one and present no name, you've volunteered yourself." He counted, He knew how many there should be and wouldn't tolerate heroes today.

"Let's be quick about it because we're moving on." Step right up, children. [b]"While you're at it, I have another question, and another essay for anyone who decides they're above answering. There's a particular magical item that works under the same principle. To master it, you must first earn its respect then take it. I don't have the patience to listen to you blunder around looking for the right answer; it's the elder wand. What makes this wand so great--please, nothing as mundane as speaking to its power. We all know that already. Is it its principle? Its design? Its fickle nature? Do you personally believe this to be a good wand? Would you trust it?"

OOC: Sorry for the delay, guys. Yesterday got hectic. Onto the second question. The Headmaster is essentially asking your characters opinion on the elder wand. I'll be back to move class to the main activity in about 24-28 hrs. <3

When the two Gryffindors collided, Kale felt it in his teeth. BanG! It was a rough landing. Magic moved quick, yikes. And being pulled by the front of his trousers was a uniquely unpleasant experience.

The belt did all it could to contain the sack in question, but it strained against the material. It was probably an odd sight.

Sprawled on his back, Kale didn't bother to try and stop the sack from escaping. His clothes did all of the work for him. NOW, if MF wanted to grab it himself, he was welcome to that particular adventure.

The task wrapped up quickly after their whoopsie daisy. Kale gruffly hauled himself to his feet and pointedly ignored his Dad. He knew lots about the Elder Wand, but if Dad-master wanted an answer from Kale, well, he perhaps should have been nicer.
