Sophie hadn't met anyone who was Muggle-born yet. She wondered what that was like but didn't want to be rude by asking too many prying questions. Instead she said, "I'm the oldest in my family too. My mum was a Hufflepuff, and my dad is a Muggle. He owns the bookstore in our village."

Sophie took a minute to think about Ashley's question. Classes were interesting and fun. The grounds were amazing to explore, and of course the castle was just incredible. She hadn't even explored a tenth of it yet. "I like our classes the best so far. I really want to learn as many spells as I can. What's your favorite part? Also, you surf? That's really cool. I've never been surfing but back home my dad would take me to ride horses sometimes. That was always really fun!"
