Ashley entered the owlery. She was planning on giving Maggie a letter for her friend. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to be doing that but she didn't much care. She was going to write him anyway. "How are you enjoying Hogwarts? And how's your housemates?" she turned her attention back to Sophie.
Sophie recognized the girl immediately as Ashley. They had spent time being partners in Defense Against the Dark Arts. Sophie smiled. She liked the Ravenclaw.

It's amazing here, isn't it? I haven't met all my housemates yet, but the prefect Aboli is very nice. How about you? How are you settling in? Do you have any older siblings that go to Hogwarts?"
Sophie finished attaching the letter to Persephone's leg. She told the owl to fly back home, and she hooted once in response. Then she jumped up and flew out through one of the many open windows.
