And the view of the lake was downright impressive.
Although it was late, Sophie decided to relax in one of the leather armchairs, soaking up the ambiance of her new home. It was a bit chilly, but that didn't really bother her. She always ran a bit hot anyway. Serpents might be cold-blooded, but she definitely wasn't. The fireplace crackled with inviting flames, its light flickering over her pale face. Yes, she could get used to this.
Aboli had also had quite the long day. Before breakfast she had skirted the courtyard to see if a certain someone had been jogging this morning - ahem - and then she found she only really liked the way the SOMEONE looked, and she felt veeeeery ashamed about her desire to just admire someone's looks. It was all very shallow feeling.
But this someone would never know she still yearned for his good looks. Nope NERRPPP nope.
Then breakfast happened...and then the whole DAY happened, and Aboli was wiped out. She collapsed onto the couch next to the armchair the younger girl was currently curled into.
"Heya." She said in a tired way. "
How's it going, firstie? I don't remember your name, sorry..." She sighed and sat up slowly.
"As your prefect, I should know your name. I apologize," she went back and forth between adoring the first years and finding them supremely annoying. This one seemed quiet and timid, though, and that always made her think of her brother.
