Nobody had done anything that would warrant this kind of lecture on the first morning of classes right? Confused Cole raised his hand to answer, choosing his words carefully. "To me it means that you as headmaster are responsible for all of students, staff and other Hogwarts residents. It's your job to see to that all students from first to seventh year learn what we need to become responsible and knowledgeable young adults and that means sometimes using disciplinary actions like detentions or point loss to make us learn valuable life lessons." He was practically everyone's parent away from home, but Cole wasn't going to say and risk getting in trouble.
