Exploring new territory wasn't something Kinsay James liked to do on her own. She usually did that with the help of her more outgoing friends (like Emmerson and/or Emma), but she had woken up first this morning with something very important on her mind. She needed to find it and it was probably in the boat because that's the last time she could remember having it.
Fortunately, she managed to find her way to the boathouse without getting lost (an incredible feat on its own because she had no idea as to how to navigate this castle yet) (it's so big) (way bigger than Stark School). But once she found the boats, she realized that she had no idea to differentiate between them. Kizzy stared at them and considered her options VERY carefully.
And when it became clear that there was only one way to go about this, she did just that and climbed into the first boat. The first year bent down and looked carefully under the little wooden planks. Hm. It wasn't in this one. So she quickly climbed out of the first boat and hopped into the next one in the line up. Only... It looked like this boat wasn't secured to the dock as well as the first had been. And unbeknownst to Kinsay, while she was ducked down, looking for what she had left behind... The boat started slowly floating away from the dock.
